Woman With Down Syndrome Recently Retired From Her Job After 32 Years Of Service

Freia David has Down syndrome and worked at Chestnut Street McDonald’s Needham, Massachusetts since her youth. She got the job through Charles River Center, a center that empowers and supports people with developmental disabilities by offering individualized opportunities like employment and job training.

Freia has worked at the fry station over the years and is a valuable employee.  A few months ago when Freia retired, McDonald’s threw a party in honor of Freia to thank her. Congrats to Freia for retiring after 32 years of hard work and dedication!
