Facebook users were left horrified after a man proposed to his significant other by putting a diamond ring on a cow’s udder.
In the post, shared with 18,000 members of the global Facebook group That’s it, I’m ring shaming, a young woman from Singapore shared a picture of an engagement post that had come upon her Facebook feed.
The snap, which has racked up hundreds of shares and comments, shows an engagement ring on the udder of a cow.
In the accompanying message, the woman explained the person who initially shared the picture was a farmer.
‘Shaming the ring and the whole photoshoot,’ she wrote. ‘The person is a farmer. Still doesn’t excuse his bad taste. And is this considered a nipple ring? Also, the band is thicker than the center stone.

‘If my eyeballs are forced to suffer through this nonsense I’m dragging everyone down with me,’ she added.
Members of the group could not believe their eyes and had a lot of questions about the proposal.
‘The cow didn’t deserve this,’ one wrote, while another added, ‘I’ve truly never hated a picture more.’
Elsewhere a user admitted: ‘I am so uncomfortable and worried,’ while one argued: ‘F****** gross. This animal does not deserve being abused in this fashion.

The post was inundated with comments, and some even branded it abuse, with one writing: ‘That should classify as animal abuse’.
Meanwhile, one user pointed out that the ring was rather large, writing: ‘Oh my god. ‘How big is your finger that you can fit your ring on a teat? And boy, there are so many better ways to show off you’re in dairy.
‘You could clean the d*** cow first, for one,’ another commented, while one said: ‘The only thing hurting that cow is the horrid taste’.
‘Who would think this is a good idea?’, another perplexed member of the group wrote.
‘This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my whole life ever and I’ve watched Friends six times,’ another said.
Some even branded it abuse, with one writing: ‘That should classify as animal abuse’.
And others could not resist a cow or dairy pun. ‘This is udderly ridiculous and totally cheesy,’ one joked.
‘This is udderly terrible. Sorry had to go for it. But really this is gross. The ring is a mess of clusters and the band is too thick. Like the person thought how can I make this ring bigger without spending any more money,’ another observed.
