There are often gripes about local politicians, the ones in Washington D.C. and many all over the world. Sometimes, rightly so. There is lots of lobbying, money exchanged, and in turn a lot of decisions that are made not on the constituents’ behalf, but on behalf of another entity. This makes the people angry and has fostered quite a grudge against people that choose to go into politics and work for the government.
Are there great politicians and people that work for the government? Of course! Are most rotten? No. But because so many have ruined it for the rest of the good ones, just like many other things, the public has grown tired of much of their behavior. And that’s where this joke comes in…
